ACCEPTED AND PROHIBITED DUMPSTER ITEMS
WHAT YOU CAN PUT IN AN NTX ROLL-OFF DUMPSTER
Start with the approved list, keep every prohibited item out, and contact NTX Roll-Offs before loading anything that is not clearly named. Material approval protects the rental, the pickup, and the disposal process.

THE SHORT ANSWER
Accepted and prohibited dumpster material policy
NTX Roll-Offs accepts common household junk and approved construction material, but hazardous and specifically prohibited
items must stay out of the dumpster.
Use the lists below as the published starting point. If an item, mixture, or load is not clearly covered, send the exact material and approximate amount to NTX Roll-Offs and wait for confirmation before loading.
PUBLISHED MATERIAL LIST
ACCEPTED FIRST. PROHIBITED KEPT SEPARATE.
These lists reflect the current material guidance published by NTX Roll-Offs. Approval still depends on the actual material and rental details you provide.
Commonly accepted
Items You Can Discuss for the Load
Tell NTX Roll-Offs what you plan to place in the container, even when it appears on this list.
- Household junk
- Construction debris
- Wood, drywall, and flooring
- Furniture
- Appliances without refrigerants
Do not load
Prohibited Dumpster Items
Keep these materials out of the container. Contact NTX Roll-Offs if you need help identifying an item.
- Paint, chemicals, solvents, or hazardous waste
- Tires
- Batteries
- Oil, fuel, or automotive fluids
- Asbestos
- Medical waste
Do not use the accepted list to override a quote or direct instruction.
Follow the written terms for your rental and contact NTX Roll-Offs if your planned material changes.
THREE MATERIAL STATES
KNOW WHEN TO LOAD, STOP, OR ASK
Use this decision path before the project begins and again if a new item appears during the rental.
Accepted
The material appears on the accepted list and matches the project details you gave NTX Roll-Offs. Follow the written rental terms while loading.
Follow confirmed termsProhibited
The material appears on the prohibited list. Keep it out of the dumpster and use an appropriate disposal route for that material.
Do not loadUnconfirmed
The item is not named, the material is mixed or unusual, or the planned load has changed. Describe it to NTX Roll-Offs and wait for approval.
Ask before loadingHEAVY AND SPECIAL LOADS
PUT THE WEIGHT TERMS IN WRITING
A single numeric heavy-load limit is not published for every rental. Before loading dense, unusually heavy, mixed, or otherwise unconfirmed material, give NTX Roll-Offs the exact material and estimated amount.
Ask for the written quote or rental terms to identify the available container, included weight allowance, any overage rate, material approval, rental dates, and applicable fees. Do not load the material until those terms are clear.
Details to confirm before choosing a dumpster
- Name the exact material, not only the project type
- Estimate the amount or volume you plan to load
- Ask which available container fits the approved load
- Review the included weight and overage terms
- Confirm any material-specific or added-service fee
Size Does Not Approve
the Material
Choosing a container by volume does not replace material and weight confirmation.
Compare SizesBEFORE PICKUP
KEEP THE CONFIRMED LOAD READY
Material approval is one part of a successful pickup. Keep the container accessible and follow the agreed loading terms.
While You Load
- Use only the materials approved for the rental
- Keep every prohibited item out
- Stop and ask if an uncertain item appears
- Follow the confirmed weight terms
- Do not overfill the dumpster
When You Are Ready
- Schedule pickup online or by phone
- Provide at least 24 hours of notice
- Keep the dumpster accessible
- Confirm the load has not changed
- Review any final question before pickup
Material questions
CHECK BEFORE YOU LOAD
